My Dear Friends,

Yes it’s true; we are running the last tour. After 17 years it’s time to change the team.
I don’t know yet who will be the new coach, but I’m completely sure we will make a spectacular farewell.  The best ever!
Sir John Hegarty will be the first key-note speaker. “10 reasons why this is the best time to be in advertising” is the title of his speech.
Akira Kagami, worldwide chef creative officer of Dentsu, Tokyo will be next. Only because of superstitions reasons we are afraid to announce all advertising stars we are expecting.
But without any doubt The 2010 Golden Drum Creative Academy will take your breath away.

The general topic is RECONSTRUCTION. After very sad and pessimistic last year in our profession, we want to rouse more courage and stimulate optimism.
“The future of advertising has been questioned.” Regardless what these cynics say, our industry is about to enter in a golden period.” said Sir John.
Three in advertising industry highly respected schools (Berlin, Bled, Lugano) will have three academic hours with theirs guest teachers.
Many high specialized labs will be along of big auditorium. Media Meeting won’t be separate but integrated in plenatary and laboratory part.
According to The CUP experience we initiate The Brand Grand Prix. In ten “product and services” categories the best entries will be – regardless media – awarded with Grand Prix.
With full respect to more and more precious time we will start 17. Golden Drum Festival three days later on Wednesday and will finish one day later in none working Saturday.
